2011 PCRA CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP ROUND 2

Wakefield Park, NSW, 14th May 2011

The success at the Barry Sheene did not come without a bit of wear and tear on the SFC Replica. A noise had developed late on Sunday and some investigation afterward revealed the keyway in the camshaft had failed and needed attention. Some creative machining produced a solution in time for the PCRA club championship round 2, just 45 minutes up the road at Wakefield Park. What better way to test the repair than another meeting?

After the meeting we analysed the results and decided to skip the rest of the PCRA club championship. With only one other entrant in our class who was well off our pace, we decided to concentrate on further refinements to the bike with the objective being the next National-level meeting - the Australian Titles in Novemeber.
